Cats' well-being
Our research has led to the
development of pheromones for managing territorial problems concerning
cats : urine marking, scratch marking, transportation (use of
Feliway®), acceptance of a new cat (use of Felifriend®).

Dogs' well-being
The
following research performed on dogs and horses has led to the
validation of a family of pheromones called « appeasines
» which are used to improve their well-being in stressful or
fearful situations. The synthetic analogue of the dog appeasine is
called DAP® for « Dog Appeasing Pheromone® ».It is
used for fears expressed both outside the house (panic, anxiety,
shaking, fear of noises) and inside the house (destruction, moaning and
howling in the absence of the owner).
The DAP® is also recommended to prevent stress when puppies are taken away from their mother. They are reassured and do not cry during the nights following adoption. |

Horses' well-being
Pherocalm®
is the name of our Horse Appeasing Pheromone analog. It is used against stress caused
by transportation, loading into a trailer, handling, arrival in new
environments and breaking.

Wild animals' well-being
This
research is in progress. Our team intervenes sporadically, at the request of zoos, in order to manage predictable stress situations
(transportation, new enclosure, arrival of a new animal,
re-introduction to natural environment) and to find solutions for
well-known stressful situations (anxiety, stereotypy).
The latest intervention took place upon the request of the Takh association, in collaboration with WWF-Mongolia, which is in charge of the French project of re-introducing Przewalski horses into their original environment; the Mongolian steppes . |

Feliway®
is a structural analogue reproducing the emotional stabilization
properties of the facial pheromone of cat marking.
This substance is put on objects of the cat's environment, telling it its territory is well-organised and everything is all right. Feliway® allows cat owners to control bothering behaviour a territory disturbance can bring. This product is distributed under two galenical forms, spray bottles and electric diffusers. This product is marketed under three different names:

Felifriend®
is a structural analogue reproducing the emotional stabilization
properties of the facial pheromone of cat allomarking.
Cats put this
pheromone on every living subject (both men and animals) they
get along with.
Felifriend® enables cat owners to control the problems the arrival of a newcomer (cat, dog, baby, etc.) could generate on the cat's territory. This product is distributed under the spray bottle form:

DAP® is a
structural analogue reproducing the soothing properties of the dog
maternal pheromone.
This pheromone is secreted by the bitch after the birth and contributes to the puppies attachment to their mother. DAP® can sooth both puppies and grown up dogs whichever fear they may have. This product is distributed under three galenical forms, collars, spray bottles and electric diffusers:

Pherocalm®
is a structural analogue reproducing the soothing properties of the
horse maternal pheromone.
This pheromone is secreted by the mare, in the cirrus area, after foaling and contributes to the foal's attachment to its mother. Pherocalm® can sooth both foals and grown up horses whichever fear they may have. This product is distributed under the nasal spray bottle form:
